These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Servo mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Servo provides a digital vehicle maintenance and history tracking platform allowing users to:

• Record fuel-up entries and track consumption statistics
• Record maintenance and service history with photo proof
• Track odometer readings with monotonic enforcement
• Upload receipts, documents, and images
• Scan receipts via OCR for automatic data entry
• Set smart reminders by date, odometer, or both
• Share vehicles with other drivers
• Generate shareable, time-limited public vehicle history links

Servo does not provide mechanical, financial, or legal advice.

2. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Ensuring the accuracy of the data you submit
• All activities that occur under your account

Servo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or are used fraudulently.

3. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all information, images, and data you submit to the Service. Servo does not independently verify the factual accuracy of user entries.

By submitting content, you grant Servo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.

4. Garage Verification

If a service provider submits or signs a record:

• The provider is responsible for its accuracy
• "Verified" indicates submission by a registered service provider
• Servo does not guarantee the quality, completeness, or outcome of any mechanical work

5. Immutable Records & Odometer

Certain entries may become locked after verification, preventing retroactive modification. This is a core feature designed to build trust in vehicle history.

Odometer readings are enforced monotonically — readings cannot be set lower than the last recorded value. This does not guarantee completeness or factual accuracy of the underlying data.

6. Car Sharing

Vehicle owners may invite other Servo users as additional drivers. Additional drivers can add fuel-up entries and odometer readings. All other data remains under the owner's control. The owner may remove additional drivers at any time.

7. Public History Links

Users may create public, time-limited vehicle history links. Anyone with the link may view the shared data. Servo is not responsible for third-party redistribution of shared links. Links can be deactivated at any time.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers both free and paid tiers. Paid features require an active subscription. Payments are processed exclusively via the Apple App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refund policies are governed by Apple's terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service — including the app, design, branding, and underlying technology — belong to Servo. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Service.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading vehicle data with intent to deceive
• Attempt to manipulate or circumvent the immutable record system
• Interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
• Impersonate another user or service provider

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Servo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Servo is not liable for:

• Financial losses related to vehicle sales or purchases
• Inaccurate or incomplete data submitted by users or service providers
• Decisions made based on vehicle history information
• Acts or omissions of service providers
• Temporary service interruptions or data loss

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Servo may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the European Union. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of your country of residence within the EU.

16. Modifications

Servo may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
